Beaver Promise

The Promise is a simple way to help us celebrate our shared Scout values. There are different versions for our Beavers, Cubs and Scouts. This is the Beaver Scout Promise:

“I promise to do my best to be kind and helpful and to…
  • love our world.” (atheist/no faith)
  • act with love towards everyone.” (Buddhist)
  • love God.” (Christian)
  • love the world.” (Hindu)
  • love our world.” (Humanist)
  • love God.” (Jewish)
  • love Allah.” (Muslim)
  • love Wahegru.” (Sikh)

You’ll read this during your investiture. But don’t worry, you don’t need to memorise it!

Beaver leaders

Our leaders are trained volunteers, working to make sure Scouting is safe, inclusive and accessible. Some lead the Colony week in and week out. Others visit occasionally to help run a session or drop in to share their skills. No matter how much time you have to spare, find out about volunteering on your own terms.
